PACT receives its largest ever donation!

Wimborne Rotary Club has donated £2,563 to PACT from their 2010 Swimathon; the largest single donation received by the charity to date.

PACT was one of three main charities to benefit from the 2010 Swimathon; sharing the bulk of the proceeds with John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation and Lewis Manning Hospice.

The remainder of the £12,046 was distributed to twenty other charities.

The presentation was made to PACT's Co-ordinator, Joss Ridge, at a special Wimborne Rotary Club lunch.

Joss thanked club members for the donation which will "Mean we can help up to 50 families in and around Wimborne over the coming months by putting on more of our successful parenting courses and confidence boost workshops".

Joss added, "This donation means so much to us as our parents tell us that PACT makes a real difference to their lives and in some cases attending one of our parenting courses can actually mean a family staying together".
